Former midfielder Tim Sherwood believes Liverpool will struggle to keep Trent Alexander-Arnold at the club. But Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are likely to sign new deals.

Asked if a strong start to the season would persuade the trio to stay. Sherwood told Sky Sports: “That helps.”
